Reasons Projects Fail
Projects often fail and participants often wonder why their efforts were not successful.  Sometimes they can see the reasons, sometimes they are too close to the problems to see them.  Listed below are major reasons for project failures.   Our training and facilitation techniques help project teams anticipate or quickly identify risk areas and develop effective startegies and plans to avoid or resolve them.

1.

Lack of knowledge or experience
2. Insufficient buy-in from project participants
3. Inadequate approach (poorly detailed or sequenced plan)
4. Ineffective customer relationship
5. Underestimated resource requirements
6. Underestimated time requirements
7. Conflicting priorities for time and resources
8. Overlooked or forgotten activities (skipped steps)
9. People don't perform as planned
